Introduction
Currently we have 404 digitized pieces of paper in the database.
These pieces of paper could be discovered by browsing and by searching. In the
browse mode the papers are ordered based on the similarity of the laid and the
chain line structure. One could discover matches by zooming in on the watermark and the
other paper features. Zooming in is achieved by clicking with the left-button and
zooming out is achieved using the right-button. As soon as a match is discovered
the information can be transferred to the server by accept match. This information
is used to improve retrieval performance.
Submission and Contact Information
Paper reproductions that would be of interest to submit to the database
could be submitted by means of the ftp-server. Different image formats are
accepted. In order to have access to the server contact Mark van Staalduinen.
